I’m a passionate software developer, marketeer and team advocate. I still love programming languages and helping software developers to kick-ass in what they’re doing. More than that I believe in the power of teams and in no-bullshit corporations.
I’ve been working in Denmark and Germany mainly as a Java developer and leading software development teams. But as it turns out these days I’ve been coding in a ton of other programming languages, too.
After that I moved to the dark side… I joined the marketing department at Atlassian in San Francisco. My roles during that time varied from being an Developer Advocate to defining the brand message for and beyond Atlassian’s customer conferences.
Now I’m running different developer relation programs at MongoDB like scaling public speaking, assuring an amazing presentation quality, and helping with creating an amazing MongoDB World experience for our most passionate customers.
I regularly speak at small and large developer conferences like Devoxx, Jfokus, Javazone, DevNexus, NDC, Codemotion, Code One, GeeCon, Jax and many more. Additionally I’ve been working in programming committees of Jazoon, Jfokus , DevoxxUK, JavaOne, TopConf, and Øredev as a track lead and reviewer. I’ve been in charge of the program and the keynotes for Atlassian’s customer event Summit for 3 years.
